Dream

Every night i laid on my bed,
the moment my eyes closed,
the image of a strange place appeared.

I drifted past the same shore every time,
looking up at the crimson sky,
the two moons that cuddle each other,
and there stood the same castle,
with an unusual aura surrounding it.

I continue towards the castle,
the door opened up,
and the next thing I know,
I was dragged into deep darkness…

A figure appeared in the darkness,
his voice called out for me,
I reached out,
feathers flew into my direction,
as I ran forward.

I saw it,
the black wings of redemption,
the figure turned around,
he smiled at me,
his voice reached out for me again.

and I promise to come again,
he stretched his hand out for me,
and disappeared within the Night of Crimson…

I am back to the reality,
the reality that I never wanted,
in my life…

  15. I feel the tension between dream and reality in this poem–that experience we have of not wanting to leave a dreamspace. Well done.
