Treasure
The first time we met
you held out your little hand
to help this little girl
starved and weak
fainted on the soft snow.
When the little girl wake up
she realized she was in
a warm room and a little hand
carefully cared for her
she smiled and glad that
there was still someone who was
there for her.
Day by day passed,
the fun we had together
the moments we both shared
is something I treasured
till now to me
it is precious and irreplaceable…
I wish that it will never end
but a gun shot came
and everything went blank
my mind was gone
my heart was torn apart
until then I realized
you were no longer
in this world anymore.
I wonder all these years
if I am at your side
at that very moment
will everything change?
A treasure that is irreplaceable
till the end of the world,
you will always be treasured.

This is my first entry to Prompt #11 for 2010: Treasure on Writer’s Island.
I used to have a friend whom I really treasured and had fun with long time ago, but he had left this world six years ago and this is dedicated in the memories of him. To me, he is an irreplaceable friend and someone i treasured all these years =D

[...] I would like to share was that on this day November 10, six years ago, that special person who given “RiikaInfinityy” this name to me two years and just two days before that very year, left this world. If you remember I had written a poem in the memories of him when I started not long ago as I began my writing journey entitled “Treasure“. [...]
Oh, hon, too few people have a muse like him in their lives. I, too, have had closerthanclose encounters with a few magical people. When one loses a part of oneself, it is like a small death within. But then that person is forever a part of you, their dreams manifested in yours… Amy Barlow Liberatore

A heartfelt tribute to an irreplaceable friend. Thanks for this, I really liked it. Sometimes prompts can be difficult, but you had a unique idea in that the treasure is that friendship. Amy (Sharp Little Pencil
