Vampire

In the darkness
you gently slept behind the red cloth
the scent of the delightful blood
made me move on

I walked closer
and slide through the red cloth
there you are
my beloved patient.

My finger slowly reached out
for your tender skin
it was soft and smooth,
at that very moment
I forgotten about the world
and only you
seem to be the most
beautiful person in this world.

I bit gently on your neck
tears came out from both sides
I can’t stop now
not anymore
this was the only way
to ease your pain away

I drained you slowly
your smile was sealed
Your face turned cold
Your eyes spoke only silence
You will never be alone again
For you will now live within me
forever….

My entry posted at One Shot Wednesday, Enjoy people^^ It is actually a new gathering place for poets & writers to showcase their talents and also posted onto Undead Poets Society.

  1. and you will now live within me forever…

I’d like to just linger on that line for a long time.

glad you came by to One Shot to let us share and showcase to others

    • It been my pleasure and my honor =) And i glad you like it, that is the line which concluded the love that is forbidden and yet kept deep within the heart of a vampire :P

  2. Your poem strikes me as a piece about love, longing, admiration, and eternity more so than vampires—a testament to your writing. thanks

  3. You wrote this brilliantly. I say that because I felt both the affection and the chill in this piece. Ambivalent. That’s it. I felt ambivalent. And believe it or not, that’s a compliment! Not many things make me feel such strong, conflicting emotions. Bravo!

  4. i could feel the apology…”the tears came from both sides”..thanks for sharing..wouls sit nice with my Darkened Tales..cheers Pete

  5. Not my cup of blood
    But you did it well

    The sent was strong
    The night was long
    As red cloth swayed
    Your touch was soft
    Her blood she lost
    This girl you betrayed
    Her smile was sealed
    Her face turned cold
    Her life you took away
    No pain she felt
    You had no gilt
    For the ones you slay

    Not my cup of blood
    But you did it well

  6. i grew up reading anne rice and always thought vampires such an intimate and sensual being…you captured that well…thanks for stopping by…
