FireGirl
I am wondering how did
she manage to survive
The face of a female
just like a life
so sacred and precious
She must had gone through
a lot and not everyone
can truly understand…
I am speechless
yet in my mind
I was impressed by
her bravery and strength
of appearing in front of many
She must be thinking
a lot and only she can
decide what’s the
best for herself…
I am thinking
Why God is so cruel
to such a girl like her?
Will warmth and happiness
embrace her and
ease her pain and soul?
I truly wish for that
just for my special friend,
Jessica…

This is my first entry to Prompts for G10 hosted by Brenda Warren (Mrs. Warren) – FireGirl and to The Poetry Pantry Week #5 at Poets United.
Brenda created Prompts for G10 as a possible supplement to her classroom. From time to time, she will post prompts to elicit your perspective or ideas to share with young people who are growing up in Montana, USA. ^^~ So check out the site right now and start writing ^.^~ I found the idea of they way she did the prompt is really interesting and fun, it got me into much thinking rather than just looking at the surface of things

Riika, Thank you for your honest response to the prompt. Your questions are good, I imagine they are similar to questions some of my students will have. Yay! I’m happy to have a first post. This piece is wonderful!
