DÉJÀ VU

The beautiful glittering sky
the voice that echo in my mind
the pair of sapphire eyes that don’t blink
the wings of blood drops
every tears that flow down your eyes
there is someone there for you
And I see a smile on
my alternate self

The present universe
awaken me
I know I was there
I feel your pain and sadness
but why
Why am I look at myself smiling?
Where is that place?
When did I go there?
And importantly,
Who are you?
How did you know my name?

Questions drifted
yet there was no answer
I am sure
I am there
for this mysterious young guy
in an alternate world
that I think it exists
somewhere
in this reality…

Written for The Inferno: A Writer’s Challenge Gallery 23 – August 28 (DÉJÀ VU).

This was inspired by this television series “Fringe” in which that Déjà vu is a brief glimpse of an alternative reality. This means that the person will feels like they have been somewhere before because they actually have been there in another reality. I was pretty fascinated by the way they created the present reality and the alternate reality in the series, even though the person may look the same but the personality is really different and things inside each reality are really different, it is like two worlds of the same yet so different from a perspective.
