Let the Dance Begins…

A world that I had never plan to travel
The art and beauty of the mysterious mask
mesmerized my heart and soul making me to go
into the beautiful sacred world of the Masquerades
Crowd of unknown people that wore a mask of disguise
Conversations of the ultimate realm begins as I drifted past
I am like a woman who got lost that was filled with innocence
The darkness began to spread across the whole ballroom of beauty
The hunting had began as the people took a roll onto the dance floor
Music of the mysterious era began its tune as it flow through the room
The spirits of the people were all caught within the net of the rhythm
There is nowhere out of this darkness and yet beautiful playground
Slowly I realized a pair of hands had caught me in the dark row
I wanted to scream but I will branded as a strange weirdo
Calm myself down and I turned to face my predator
If I have to get eaten at this moment of time
I would had given in everything for him
The predator’s eyes sparkled
in the wild darkness
the desire of
this dark
beauty
I will
take
his hand
and let the dance begins
in its own world of the everlasting darkness of lust

  7. I did download it! Can’t wait for it to be published by LuLu.

A most interesting poem. Loved the shape of the glass! You are definitely talented, but I swear you will never be eaten, LOL. XD

    • XD~ You can download the high quality version from the mediafire and the wordpress one actually, because Lulu kills a lot of things like the images and I have to switch to Microsoft 2007 to be able to upload it to Lulu…cos right now I am useing the 2010 Word which have much more wonderful features =3

  14. Nice to see this piece again.
    Very unique and admirable job!

  15. The music, the lyrical words, the artistic expression all stunning and eloquent. The dance of life is a profound statement as is your words, for we dance upon the stage of life as if at a costume ball, wearing a mask — will the ‘real’ self emerge and a touch from someone loving helps break the spell that was cast. so much to your poem very profound….
I have a poem that is about the “dance” as well. different take, though, a reoccurring theme of mine for I love the tango, it is a dance of partnership.

    • Thank you for your wonderful comment!=D~ It is a dance that one should never forget as you said the spell had been casted :3~ Feel free to grab a glass of wine too =P And tango is beautiful in my opinion though I am not a dancer, I do admire those who can =D, and yes partnership is important, everything need two hands to clap :3

  16. I think this is very clever as it pulls you to the stem, the mysterious masquerade conjures a party and so many more images. Lovely, Thank you. Gay (@beachanny)

    • I used to do these kind of art last time, I am picking up my skills back actually took about an 1 hour but glad it turned out as a animated scene when the wine is actually pouring out of the picture and into the cup :3~ Thank you for visiting!
