For Love, We Never Part
Upon
the reunion of love
we sang in celebration
War driven into the land
and force to make a decision
Towards the battlefield of no return
I will fight with pride and honor
For I know that you will always
be by my side no matter what
happens in the present or the
future, yet happiness is not
to be for everything is gone
at that point of sacrifice to save your precious beloved
Tears rain as pool of blood spattered across the field of peace
Pain took no control but your soul embraced me with warmth
Tears faded as I held my hand close to my chest
I knew we will never part for eternity
for now you live within me
The fusion of two souls
For love
we will
never
part

Deep felt words, and great imagery.
Brilliant lines in meaning and visually. The placement of the colors when they change mid line through some of the words changes the way I read it. Truly amazing.
you’re poems are always so different. not only is the poem itself really amazing, the way you present it makes it even more surreal. great job.
thanks for stopping by, btw.
Beautiful imagery. Nice One Shot.
one of the things i love about your writing is that it does not end with the words…but the poem itsel is a piece of art…this one i think augments what you are saying nicely…two into one…nice one shot!
Creative presentation. The sadness is conveyed but the joy of love prevails.
Interesting poem. I like the way you visualize in words and art and colors.
