The World of Fashion
Every string
threaded
matters
One little
tiny mistake
spoils the entire work
Fairies flies all over the place
to prepare for this special day
Thoughts and ideas flood their little minds
as they set off to work with the people
Designing the layout. Creating the wonderful appearance
Papers spread everywhere. Threads floated in the air
The dance of the masterpiece begins in this space full of
life and wonders. The fairies set themselves to work
The people sew the laces with the flow. Everything went
round and round, up and down, left and right and it is done!
The mannequin places a smile in our hearts when she sees the final masterpiece
The beauty and mystery behind this dazzling gown leaving everyone speechless by the
end of the day

This is written for The Coxswain Project #3 by The Inferno: A Writer’s Challenge, this poem is inspired by The Artist Challenge‘s own Paul Pinson‘s painting of his father’s workshop, “a life space.”

Cheers and get indulged into the world of cloth and threads!^^~

I love that you involved fairies in this one. I think of fairies as angels, but as a lower rank. Even it is said that they are demoted angels. Anyway, I loved the poem! Yes, the world of fashion has its ups and downs….
I’ve tried to write about fashion and always fail miserably. You did such a good job with this one. I’m so jealous
I don’t sew but I like the flow. Very visual and entertaining.
super duper writer!
