Stealing Mission (Chapter 3)
Layout of Phoenix Flower Mansion
Design Phase: In order to make it simple for readers to understand, I decided to use both images and words as the mission runs along in the novel. The images shown above is just a part of the whole mission, step by step sequences had been shown along the way to make sure readers get the beginning, the process and the end.
Strategy Planning Phase: There is a saying that planning is already half-success. In adaptation to that, I decided to make the group go on a scouting mission first before the actual one to get the layout and plan properly before they break into one of the mansions in Ricco District. Ricco was highly secured and without an official badge given by the palace, you will not be able to get in. After the scouting, they planned out nicely to make sure that everything goes in that way. This was a simple mission, so I did not make it too complicated.
Mission For The People
Design Phase: The second mission which involved the maps and strategy planning was the part when Zaki’s group and Xanra’s group met up together, they had decided to do something for the people. The complication of the map came in as they were divided into two groups, breaking into 5 different mansions in Ricco District. It was a challenge but no doubt, I decided to add in some help along the way. I had also zoom into the map if you had realized it, into the Ricco District in Aries.
Strategy Planning Phase: I added in the presence of the Oracles along the way and some groups that was never been seen, the characters as well as the readers would be exploring different areas of Ricco while on the mission. I had scattered the location of the mansions that they were supposed to break into around the area that was further away from the palace, in order to make sure they don’t get caught so easily. It was part of the reason why the mission was considered smooth, except the part during the end. (Check out the novel and you will know why =D)
Invasion of Aries by Cruxic
Invasion of the Aries Palace by Cruxic
Design Phase: Not to confuse the readers at the beginning when Roxio’s group started planning on the invasion. The first part I had shown the overall movement of the group with instructions on the specific character to move where and when to move. After that when the operation of the invasion started, I laid every step carefully as the characters moved along his allocated position. I had used the number especially to make sure I wouldn’t get confused too.
Strategy Planning Phase: It got a little complicated in the center of the map when the four groups met up and dispersed again at the beginning when they were still not inside the palace. I made it such a way that every step the characters took will be recorded accordingly, and the numbers were actually used to pin point the particular spot on the image while the readers get to read as well as know what was actually happening during that point of time. I also gotten in many different elements and difficult events during the war into consideration.
Upon their entry into the palace, I had Seria coming into the map as she was trying to escape and she needed to find Physician Xun first as he had helped her previously. However, the saving didn’t turn out as expected and the above image of the palace shown when Seria and the Cruxic group clashes with each other. Unexpected things coming along the way to make sure that the story doesn’t just end with Seria and Zaki reuniting so soon.
Trail of Destruction (Acura)
Design Phase: I decided to get Acura to destroy Cruxic after his awakening to find Mura and Kaoru. It was part of the plan in actual fact since the location of his awakening was near Cruxic, and Cruxic was the first country that the Letters had created in Cyrus, mostly likely Mura and Kaoru would be there, however it wasn’t in this case as the King of Letters was in Aries. Cruxic had sort of became the most innocent party of the events that had happened.
Strategy Planning Phase: There was not much of the strategy thinking over here as Acura and the Oracles, even without strategy, giving their powers and strength, they would be able to take down a country if they needed to. I had planned a simple trail of where the characters were at and where they were going. I also had stationed Beri and Pentagon outside to make sure that Wade and those Letters in disguise met each other, from there Beri and Pentagon would be eliminated for good. (Beri Cassandra Kesis (Tera’s sister), and Pentagon Alfredo Kesis – the Oracles)
There will be a series of walk-through for Tributes of Sonia – The Second Fall happening right in Deadly Butterfly Betrayal. In order not to confuse with poetry works and stuffs, I will be only resuming writing poetry after the walk-through are done. I will also be taking this as a resting period of going deeper in explaining the work that I had done for Tributes of Sonia.
