Facial Expression

When you are smiling,
is that truly the smile that
you wanted to express
or
is it just a mask hiding
what is beneath yourself?

When you are crying,
is that truly the tears that
you cry for the sake of others
or
is it just tears which
you want to be comforted with?

When you are angry,
is that truly the anger
you wanted to impulse on others
or
is it just a moment for you
to vent your heart out in
order to feel better within?

When you are desiring,
is that truly the desire
you had been wanting all this while
or
is it just a split second of delight
that you will have to pay a high price
eventually?

When you are fearing of something,
is that truly the fear
you should be afraid of
or
is it something that
you are just trying to run away from
and hoping nobody will ever find out?

Our faces are never the same
as our lives goes on
Each stage will bring us to a
deeper understanding
to who we really
are in this
world
