Deadly Butterfly Betrayal

This is an exclusive artwork and poem that brings you into the part before the events of Tributes of Sonia began, they focused on the creators of the Letters and Sonia and that is why this artwork and poem are called “ The Creators of Merus”. The strange symbols in the artwork are the written language that Merus are using – “Meru”. In additional, I had also written the poem below using the Meru language on the background of the artwork. There is also an image showing the symbols without the foreground for everyone to explore Meru further. Meru is a language created by me to feature the new race “Merus”  in Tributes of Sonia, my first semi-graphical novel series. Every symbol represents a word of its singular, plural, past/present/future tenses, verb, adjective forms, etc. The spoken language of Meru will be different from its written form as each word will have different way of pronouncing them.

A legend that is
Never to be whispered in the ears of mortal
Never to be recorded in the books of history
Upon the sky of knowledge and powers
Only the wandering souls of other existence
Will remember the Tragedy of Savorina
And so it is buried within our hearts
Never to be forgotten as it is time to remember
A fateful meeting of prophecy
A warm helping hand that touches my soul
The will to survive until the end begins
The painting of the future set us on a journey of our beliefs and dreams
A beginning of destruction brought a tragic end
Yet the end is never the end
Sacrifices made regardless of prayers said
God is no longer in a position to save us all
We have only ourselves in the past
Right in the present and the unknown future ahead
It is just the beginning of an endless game of life and death
In the name of balance of World
