The Missing Piece
Heart
and soul depleted
as the water flowed down
the riverside
Awaiting for
a savior
But only to
get below the
tree of pride
because of greed
and be driven out of
your own world
Love and care
are no longer needed
as every tear will
just bring me deeper
down the path of despair
Patience denied and efforts faded
Nothing is longer important except for
the final missing piece
My desire
of this lifetime
will be something
you will never
be able to
give me
ever
.

Riika, your work is so creative and unique. I enjoyed reading the Secret of Jade Oak…wouldn’t you love to hop a plane and come teach me some of your amazing tech skills? :0)
Definitely if I can ;D haha!
Thus is dark poetry, indeed
Love how you have pieced this together, leaving only one open space… that only you can fill in, the piece hidden within your lonely heart.
beautifully knitted together!
Sad tale. Smooth and reflective. Enjoyed it very much! Happy Rally!
Lovely shape, elegant and deeply moving poem. I found the alternating colors distracting and I kept looking for some secret symbolism. I wonder if I missed something?
and this comment is for your poem.. as usual no words to describe Riika’s work.. here is my cute tune on nature
Someone is Special
my first comment is to express my happiness, “finally after a long time I was able to see your blog.. it loaded properly….
Someone is Special
Though the pictures you chose are indeed fitting to the words you wrote, i hope others dont let their art mask your own. You do fine work of lost love and felting hope. I enjoyed your piece, as it remained strong throughout it, though bits were stronger than others over all it was expetional.
No feeling is without cause,
Shoeless
eloquent expression..
Happy Rally.
beautifully written and beautifully laid out – your blog is amazing!
superb as always…
So much sadness, yet there is beauty not only in the choice of words (“Patience denied and efforts faded) but the color scheme of the poem itself, the presentation. This has the tragic loveliness of a wilting rose. Thank you. Amy

Another excellently crafted poem.
Your blog has so much life! Brilliant!
