Birthday Special: Night of Jubbileus

The evanescence of the sunset
brings the night of dreams
when fairies come alive
when flowers glow luminously like
the flame of Armageddon
and
the blue ocean ruled by Triton
The butterfly sings an aria of union
The moon reveals the night of Jubbileus
as the time strikes midnight
Her world intercepts reality
Creations bloom from the night of her birth
Wings open the path to the light of hope
An existence as shallow as she may have
Yet the deliverance of determination
drives away all despairs
A significant birth of her world
marks the beginning of an unknown future
And it is time
to remember the
Night of Jubbileus

This year marks my 21st birthday and I have been preparing for this day to reveal this set of art and poem to everyone. Life has been busy ever since I started Digipen, but I did not regret in making this decision even though it is really tough here. I am also very glad that I am able to have friends supporting me through the tough times and always there for me when I needs them. My parents have been a great support as well even though they did not know much about the course I am studying now. Overall, I wish to thank everyone for being there for me when I am at the verge of giving up sometimes, I wouldn’t be the same if it is the opposite. So…Let’s have a melonpan feast next time! =D

(P.S. Some things are meant to be spoken and not written, so I want to keep it real short yeah :) )

This is the weapon I have created for myself, it is called “Jubbileus”. The top version is the final painted version in Photoshop while the bottom version is the shaded on paper version. To view the bigger version of the artwork, click on it.

A 21st Happy Birthday to myself, yay! =3
